Today, NDSU presidential candidate Dr. William N. Ruud, President of Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, PA will hold an open forum for campus and community members from 10:30 to 11:30 at Festival Concert Hall of the Reineke Fine Arts Center.
A media opportunity is scheduled beforehand from 10:00 to 10:30. From 11:30 to 12:30, Dr. Ruud will be available to meet and greet the public. The forum will be taped and posted on the NDSU presidential search website www.ndsu.edu/news/transition/ and attendees will have the opportunity to submit feedback on each candidate at each forum. Comments also may be emailed to ndsu.presidential.search@ndsu.edu.
The search committee has been charged to forward three names to the State Board of Higher Education. A final selection is expected at the State Board’s May 24 meeting.
The fourth candidate, John Gardner, Vice President of Economic Development and Global Engagement at Washington State University in Seattle, will hold an open forum on Friday, May 7 at 10:30.
